I'm hoping to get a puppy in the New Year, and wanted to do my homework first. There are hundreds, if not millions of 'How to' books out there, all giving you advice on different aspects of raising a well behaved puppy. This one does exactly what it says on the book cover! The K.I.S.S principle is fantastic - it doesn't think you already know something and therefore gloss over it. It's basic, straightforward, highlights pros, cons... it was a good, easy read, and answered all the questions I had lurking in the back of my brain...!

This book is full of simple, practical information on how to look after your puppy. It is brilliant for first timers, like me, who have no experience of looking after a puppy. I found the information easy to access and understand as it is set out in bite-sized chunks with lots of photos and tips. I have found that now we have our puppy, we keep going back to the book for a reminder. A very useful and easy to read book - well worth reading if you are think of getting a puppy.
