Gerry Doherty,General Secretary,Transport Salaried Staffs Association Richard Ramsay is aged sixty and spent most of his working life employed full-time for a trade union the Transport Salaried Staffs Association - TSSA - based in London until he retired as Negotiations Officer at the age of fifty-two. He was born in Kirkcaldy. Fife and lived his formative years with his parents in Burntisland, Fife. Since returning to Burntisland in 2003 he is currently employed as a golf starter at Kinghorn golf course. He has two children from his first marriage and has two step-children following his second marriage to Jenny. His interests are classical music, reading, football (he is a Raith Rovers supporter), golf, cricket, politics and travel as well as enjoying a glass or two of wine. This is his first published book.
