It's an american book,

I read all 64, large print, multiple picture pages of this book in about half an hour. The history was interesting but nothing I hadn't read on a breed website for free. Same goes for the breed standard. The rest of the advice offered is tailored to the North American reader both linguistically and intellectually and is far from breed specific. It was more along the lines of generic " 'insert breed name here' will require food, warmth and exercise". The photos look exceedingly dated even for the publication date and, in parts, the book reads like an advert for various products not available in the UK. If you have any knowledge of animals this book won't be much use to you.

Hi.I am 13.I think you should really read this book if you want to learn more about Irish Setters.It tells you alot about the history,characteristics,showing and a lot more like how to clean it what to do if the Irish Setter got hurt in some way. It also tells the proper bones for your Irish Setter.I think it is a great book!
