3.0 out of 5 stars No Disaster/not bad 3 Mar 2010

The book is easy to read and to understand. I already read three chapters, they very clear. The questionnaire at the end of the chapter reinforce the material. This is very useful.

it's a book i needed for my college class, a bit out dated, but still a lot of informative material that is very useful, but its a text book, how high can you really rate a text book

Good book - enjoying studying it - quite up to date in spite of being an older version. Makes everything clear.
1.0 out of 5 stars Guide To Disaster Recovery 5 Sep 2013
By Dan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I want to say that the reason I took this class is because it was labeled Cyber-terrorism and not disaster recovery. This is a small book, 377 pages including the index and it seems like it goes on and on. This book could have been summed up in three or less chapters and instead is filled with useless information like "Did you know that two out of ten organizations hired an outsider to plan for the organizations disaster recovery?". The bad thing is that the book assumes that you are a complete idiot and goes on to say "Eight out of ten organizations use in house planners for disaster recovery." like we can't do the math. I found this book to be bloated and condescending, one star because paper it's printed on burns rather nicely.
2.0 out of 5 stars snooze fest 21 Aug 2013

Professor provided a death by power point and I wanted to to kill or commit suicide. This is one of the most detailed books that is totally over thought out. All the charts begin to blur by the last chapter.
