About the Author
Neil is one of the most experienced Civil Funeral Celebrants in the UK. He is a member of the Professional Speakers Association, the joint President of the Association of Independent Celebrants and the Director of Studies for the UK Division of the International College of Celebrancy. He divides his time between speaking at funerals, coaching, training people to become Civil Funeral Celebrants and delivering keynotes and workshops on the theme of 'Legacy' and 'This is your life'.

This book provides material useful to the novice funeral celebrant. However, there are other books out there - and available through Amazon - that may be even more helpful. Before ordering this one, do a search on Amazon using "funeral celebrant" or "Doing funerals" to get started.
Doug Manning has the definitive approach to funeral celebrancy. If you check out [...] or search under his name in Amazon, you will find his works. He concentrates on the key to a good celebration of life: conveying the significance and meaning of a person's life, and the legacy she/he has left to family and friends.
