The Brockhampton Guide to the I-Ching is the most rewarding translation and interpretation of the original text I have read. It sticks to the fundamentals of the trigrams; the imagery and metaphor is articulated clearly; the interpretations resonate with plausability - they're personal without being presumptious; and it's a robust pocket-size carry-anywhere soulmate.
