Read this after we'd developed our idea from scratch. Wish we'd had it at the start. The author takes the reader through the various stages of taking an idea from someone's head straight through to the production line, and very helpfully includes a section on how to make some cash from your idea - which is where we're at now & the really important bit.

The journey is difficult, but having read many similar business books in the past, this one tops the lot. Lucas also backs up his theory with useful & easy to understand examples.

All in VERY practical advice, and a must have for people with good ideas who really want to do something with them.

IF ONLY I'D KNOWN! 3 Dec 2008
A fabulous book! If only I'd known about this book before I started developing my idea, i could have saved around £3,000 by not having filed my patent too early. It is absolutely spot-on and such an easy read (no complicated techno-jargon)and told me everything I need to know about protecting, developing and commercialising my idea. A great book for any would be entrepreneur.
