What a great book, complete with hand-drawn maps, of where and what one can find on San Juan Island. One never stays on the island long enough, as a visitor, to discover these places. Having this guide is essential to making your birding experience here more successful than just driving around looking for birds. Thanks for your research and work on this delightful book. I especially like the thoughtful and well-written section on Local Bird Conservation Issues.
