Despite a complete detachment from the Postman Pat brand - confusingly Jess lives in a barn and never seems to go remotely near a red postal van whatsoever - this is still a fun and well-drawn animated series. My two and a half year old is obsessed, but to be honest it is probably only essential viewing up to the age of three or four.

Well worth the £[] ish I paid for this DVD, based on the TV programme. Jess has got his/her own show after being part of the Postman Pat double act for too many years. Well done Jess - nearly forgot to say me, my wife, my daughter and my grand daughter love it. Not quite sure who I bought it for now so I'll say it's for my lovely grand daughter...................

The illustrations are lovely and encourage interaction with pre-five's.
My granddaughter already enjoys it and as she grows up will get more out of the activities.
