Importantly contains info on storage,safety and preparation of explosive devices,something not always given in most books. It has detailed information,diagrams and photographs on setting off the explosives using chemical,mechanical, electrical and electronic devices(includes how to modify a digital watch or clock to initiate the explosives).
chapter 4 details how to make various types of pipe bombs,chapter 5 is about manufacturing explosives(shows how to make chlorate explosives as well as ammonium nitrate explosives as well as guncotton and a type of explosive substance used in the past by northern ireland paramilitaries).
chapter 6 is how to make homemade electric detonators,chapter 7 has schematic of a car bomb circuit etc.That's only a small part of this great book. RECOMMENDED.

This is a review to help counteract the "YUK" review. The answer is: anyone who believes in freedom and a passive BALANCE of power between people and government.

I do own the book and for it's era it gets *6* stars! However, it's becoming very dated especially regarding electronics. Still, the chemistry and message of freedom is as valid as ever!

Like it says on the back, this book is really just for information. However, I used this book, plus other similar books for the basis of my academic Chemistry project.I got the highest possible grade, and overall this book is the best of all the authors books. He left some information that I would have included out, but if you were buying something like The Anarchist Cookbook, or Mr. Harbers other books, The Anarchist Arsenal, The Advanced Anarchist Arsenal, which I have, do not leave this book out. It has safety tips that the others do not have, plus a reccomended reading list. Overall, top class.

All bull. Most. if not all of the techniques used in this book are far from amature status, and could easily kill any of it's more daring readers.
