Fragrance Description.
Fruity chypre Mysterious, Balanced, Velvety. A masterpiece ofbalance and originality, Mitsouko marries a fruity note of peachwith jasmine flowers and May rose.
The mysterious dry-down of the fragrance blends spicy notes withthose of underbrush and vetiver.
Perfumer's Secret Eau de Parfum is more concentrated than Eau deToilette, and leaves an exceptional fragrance trail thatunderscores the presence of the woman who wears it.
It is used in the same manner as the Eau de Toilette.

Guerlain were forced to re-work this perfume because of EU regulations about some of the ingredients but I actually prefer the new version. It still beautiful, still elegant and is only slightly changed. To me it has lost that slightly sour base note that always left me slightly doubtful about whether I really liked it or not but I have bought the new EDT and I absolutley love it!! It is slightly more powdery a little softer and very very feminine. If in doubt go check it at your local beauty counter - have a sample and let it waft for a few hours, I also love L'heure bleu - again a masterpiece of old style femininity - so different from the synthetic over the top perfumes of today although there are still people creating very beautiful perfumes but you have to look carefully and not be trapped into buying into a label. Go for the old style bottle though - and not the gilt flacon with the plain bottle inside it - not very good.

This fragrance has been my favourite for many years now and no matter which new one I try I always come back to it. All perfumes are personal but this suits me perfectly. It is a very old favourite made by Guerlain.

I have been using Guerlain "Mitsouko" for many years. I have the perfume - and Eau de Parfum Spray 75M. Guerlain have RE- WORKED the Eau de Perfum and it NOTHING like the original, beware if you are expecting the old perfum, the new has NO perfume, the Guerlain counter at a leading store confirmed they could not detect ANY perfum - opened a new bottle, still no fragrance - do not waste your money! I am looking to replace a perfum I have been using for years, so so disappointed, try a tester prior to purchase.
