One summer evening, Jacques Guerlain was overcome by intenseturmoil. It was the suspended hour, the hour when the sky has lost itssun but not yet found its stars. Everything in nature is clothed in a blue light.
L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain: an emotion which this perfume aloneis worthy of expressing. The curves which stand out on the upper part of the bottle showthe influence of Art Nouveau. The stopper, in the form of a hollowed-out heart, is a playfulallusion to the romantic pre-war years.
Head Notes: Aniseed Note, Bergamot.
Heart Notes: Tuberose, Carnation, Violet, Rose,Neroli.
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Iris, Benzoin, Vanilla.

One of my top favorite scents of all time!

I love the scent of this, but it is so hard to find anymore. Why?
Wish I could describe it, but there is something in this scent that just sends me into another world. Definitely more a scent for evening than for the office--not that it's heavy but it is a mood scent for more romantic times.
