Success in today's global economy is a challenge. You can't just hang your shingle and expect customers to know you exist and you can't just hire someone to do an advertising campaign and expect customers to flock to your door. The world just doesn't work that way anymore.

So what's the alternative? A great website? Persuasive email copy? Newsletters? Social networking? Podcasting? YouTube videos? Yes, all of the above and so much more. Today's entrepreneur has to make smart decisions and use all of the resources at his or her disposal in order to build up a successful business that withstands the test of time.

Like most good guides - this one tells you to do all the things that you knew you should be doing - like writing this review with a link to your site.

You've read this review - and maybe even clicked the link to my profile and on to my Blog and you may have even bought my product - so it must have worked!

Only criticism I'd have is he seems to be marketing marketing or very simple products with broad appeal. I am trying to market a quite complicated product (Fusion Accounts: online accounting - anytime, anywhere) to a specific market.

Getting 3 million hits on my website does not help me if none of them are interested in improving their business efficiency.
