Thses guys have been through the mangle both ways in their unending quest to get feature films made. If there was one book I had to recommend which takes the lid off the daily grind of film-making and gives a GENUINE insight into the barriers that you come up against in the process and how to get around (some of) them - then this would unquestionably be that book.It stands alongside Robert McKee's "Story" in the essential two-book compendium for the aspiring feature film maker. Highly recommended as a massive dose of well-needed inspiration that makes you realise you're not on your own out there in the real world of filmmaking. Buy it - get the camera - get the filmstock and GO AND MAKE YOUR FILM!
