I principally enjoy Steve Martini's work because of the trials and court work each book normally involves. Like "The List" and "Critical Mass" this strayed from the legal eagle aspects of Paul Mandriani and I found that disappointing. The story line however was very good more home security than legal. Martini tells a good story, this book is worth a read but the legal machinations are somewhat brief.

I do not like to lay the plot in my review but I would like to set an opinion on the value of the novel. To my sense it was good and entertaining combining legals with terrorism. personally I found alot of errors in the laying of terrorrist background which indicated that the writer needed more research but all in all it was not boring and fun to read which I believe will be a completetely personal opinion depending on other readers attitudes. You will not be bored.

Format:Mass Market Paperback
If you are a fan of the Paul Madriani series "Guardian of Lies" will take you out of your comfort zone. At first you will feel this is not what you are used to and might decide to put it to one side, DON'T, read on, it becomes a fast paced, roller coaster "Action Thriller" not so much legal as lethal. Paul Madriani on steroids.

Steve Martini is once again achieving excellence. Waiting for the next chapter was fraught as you wanted to know what happened next without finishing the book too quickly.
