1.0 out of 5 stars Guadalajara is a rip off 10 Jan 2013

This book is false advertising. The Title in Amazon, says Guadalajara. When you download the book, the title is Mexico.
It has a small chapter on Guadalajara . The rest is about Mexico.
I wish I could get my $4 bucks back. If nothing else just for the principle.
I love Amazon, but in the last year, they are getting kind of shady

1.0 out of 5 stars Too thin slice of Guad in a generic Mexico sandwich 28 Nov 2012

The first 40% and last 40% of this short ebook was generic stuff about Mexico and travel therein. In the middle was the bit about Guadalajara which I read between the time my flight boarded and the time the flight attendants asked us to turn off devices - no joke! (and it was not a delayed flight). OK I skipped the big chunk of the part on Guadalajara that was hotel listings but that was also quite generic. The actual Guadalajara content was also superficial. By contrast similar city/region shorts I've gotten from Lonely Planet (Buenos Aires) and Rick Steves (Gimmelwald and the Berner Oberland) were much more in depth and well worth the money so I was sorely disappointed in this generic and unappealing offering from Frommers.
