It arrived well on time, and it's looks nice and works fine. Two things I don't like about it is, firstly, if you lift it the wrong way, the handle folds and secondly, not so important, the whistle isn't loud, it's quite faint actually.

We bought this as a picnic/power cut kettle. It has a solid bottom, holds plenty of water, whistles well and looks smart. The fold-down handle means it is easier to fill and takes up less room when stored. The only downside is that the handle can fold over while you are pouring, which is disconcerting when you are handling boiling water. There is no way to tighten this up and you have to be sure not to put the weight on the folding side when using. I am left handed, and this might make it more prone to tip. But as long as you take care when pouring, it's fine.

This is the best stove top kettle that I have owned (I have owned quite a few on account of falling asleep boiling dry previous incarnations). It is lightweight and easy to fill, it also boils very quickly.

Superb. With this kettle water can be boiled using a few hundred watts on an induction hob mostly for free with Solar PV. Money saving as an electric kettle uses 2kW approx and there isn't 2kW of free solar power. I am energy efficient crazy and this kettle helps to get power consumption down to 42 kW a month during summer. Great to hear the old fashioned whistle too.

Exactly has hoped for. Nice looking robust kettle at a good price. Can't really say that much more about it!

The whistle keeps falling out after less than a months use and won't stay in. Is ok apart from this.

This looks like a designer kettle costing four times as much till you look at it closely. Where the handle joins the body it's thin riveted steel which kind of lets the look down... and I suspect it might not last more than a few years. If you just want to boil water in style on a budget though, this is the kettle for you.
