This really is an excellent DVD. I'm a big fan of both Jenny Eclair and Dillie Keane anyway and they're joined here by Linda Robson. Combine that with a script by Judith Holder and Jenny Eclair and the result is just hilarious. The show begins essentially with a statement from Keane that to be a Grumpy Old Woman, you don't need to be old or a woman - it's a state of mind - which is very true - I'm a grumpy old woman myself and I'm a bloke.
I found myself agreeing with just about every word of the series of rant-based-monologues - particularly the ones about what happens when a Grumpy Old Woman gets drunk! I do that!!!
Just about every aspect of Grumpy Old Life is covered, from unwanted presents and "having a fall" through to the hours of pleasure that can be gained from a good catalogue.
The show is filmed live in a theatre and the quality of the filming is superb. The camera work is great, the lighting and set are just right - a suitable backdrop but not detracting from the performances. The three performances are just fantastic and all three look like they're really enjoying it.

What is undoubtedly an enjoyable evening in the Theatre does not dissappoint on DVD. It kept us laughing.

I love Grumpy Old Men and have had a Grumpy Old Women DVD before so thought I would give this one a go. It runs for approx 1 hour 45 minutes so a long time. However I did find myself getting a little bored with what they were saying and the way they stand on the stage isn't very exciting but I guess there's only so much you can do standing there! Glad I only pay £1.27 in total.
