2.0 out of 5 stars There are better sources of info. 21 Nov. 2013

This is short very basic list of ideas on where to plant your herbs. The author does cover a very basic list of herbs and planting instructions. These are similar to what you might find in a garden catalog or the growing instructions from a nursery tag.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good little book on herb growing and use 17 Dec. 2013

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I previewed the book right away as the other review was low. It has good tips on various schemes to plant and grow a wide variety of herbs. There are sections on growing in various light situations and growing in pots as well as in the ground. Not comprehensive but good tips are there and I would recommend this little book.

Very informative and well written guide especially for beginners like myself. It tells you when and how to grow some of the most common herbs used today such as basil, mint, thyme, rosemary, dill, chives etc. Very handy guide to have around when you are trying to grow fresh herbs.
