Venus fly traps are getting hard to find and was overwhelmed when i bought it, but, it never grew, i gave it brilliant care and i couldnt even see a shoot! Although 4 stars for educational reasons, since it is good to grow (TRY AND GROW) which adds a star, overall, do not buy this.
5 stars for durability, first reason, because of the convenient small pot, and 2, because nothing grows!

I was given one of these VFT sets a few months ago. It has failed to grow, which isn't surprising considering the instructions say to bury seeds, and did not comment on water type. VFT seeds have to be sown on the surface on a boggy, nutrient poor medium, with rain or distilled water.
If you want to grow carnivorous plants it's better to use specialist nurseries, and there are quite a few carnivorous plant nurseries online.
