This book has instructions and tips for all types of organic gardening- large space, containers, vegetable, flowers, shrubs, etc. Useful tips on composting, conserving water, and working to improve your soil conditions. It is a great comprehensive guide. As a beginning gardener, this book has helped me become confident that I can make the plant spaces around my apartment organic and productive. ***Great gift idea****
