"This book is a useful addition to the school or home bookshelf." -- www.wordpool.co.uk

About the Author

I trained as a graphic designer at St Martin's School of Art and initially started my career in promotion and advertising. As a freelance, I began to work with books and helped for ten years to develop the style and design of the b small list and contributed to the creation of many of the titles, particularly in collaboration with Clare Beaton. My interest in writing for children and my passion for design and crafts led to my writing three stories for the I Can Read series and three titles in the Stencil Book series. I'm also joint author of the Language Fun series, Pen Pals and All About Me in the First Record Series. After two holidays working on an organic farm in Canada, I became a very keen organic gardener and have since converted my back garden in West London into a flourishing organic plot. As a result, my book Grow Organic, Eat Organic shares my practical advice and I'm sure it will appeal to other budding organic gardeners of all ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to grow naturally 19 Dec 2011
By Parents in Touch TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback
It is so important to get young people interested in healthy food and where it comes from, so this brightly coloured book is a great way to inspire them - and their parents too! It would make a great addition to a school library, as so many schools now have the opportunity for their pupils to grow fruit and vegetables. The book explains how to grow and cook in harmony with the natural world - important issues for children to consider. It explains, not just what to do, but why to do it for the benefit of our world. The suggestions are accessible for all - plenty of the plants could be grown in window boxes, for instance. Practical ideas are attractively complemented by lots of pictures, which are entertaining as well as factual.
