Excellent value for money. You also get blues, greens and browns which can't be seen in the image.

I recently bought this made of threads & searched the Internet for a conversion table. I found a site called needlepointers.com & although it doesn't show the Moonbraid make it does show J & P Coates which as far as I can tell are the same numbers/colour combinations as these. You can convert to Anchor & DMC as well as other makes. Hope this helps

Floss is expensive. A typical skein of DMC is about 99p. For a project with a lot of colours, the cost begins to add up fast.

I recently took an interest in cross stitching and other things, but I didn't want to spend so much money on skeins if I might waste them or mess up. So I got this, which was a fantastic alternative to experiment with. The quality of the floss is noticeably lower than DMC/Anchor (it doesn't have that beautiful sheen), but if your project doesn't call for quality, this is perfect. There's a wide range of colours and shades, and I found that most cover the things I want to do. As others have said, if you're looking for colour conversions, JP Coats seems to be pretty much the same as this brand, and you can find conversions for JP Coats to the standard brands.

If you want waste thread, or just a lot of thread to start out with and try different things with, I highly recommend this.

Purchased on a Wednesday afternoon, the package of threads arrived on Thursday morning. Brilliant service!

Other than that, whilst Moonbrand isn't the best quality thread, I use it for making friendship bracelets and for this, it's pretty good. The pack comes with around 50 colours, with 2 skeins of each colour. My pack included black and white threads.

Nice mix of colours. The thread quality is ok and the price means it is good value for money.

The make is Moonbrand and you won't find any conversion charts to the usual brands (DMC, Anchor etc) but it is fine if using where an exact colour match is not necessary or for use in stitching groups.
