My First Desk is a colourful piece of playroom furniture, ideal for art and craft projects. It's comprised of moulded plastic parts that slot together for easy assembly, although an adult will probably be needed to do this. It is lightweight and can be cleaned easily by wiping with a damp cloth, although it could perhaps be slightly sturdier in construction. It measures approximately 42 cm (17 inches) high, 49 cm (19 inches) wide and 52 cm (21 inches) long.
The desktop itself is a cheerful yellow, with a bright blue pen/pencil tray that can be lifted out. The solid seat is also blue, as is the footrest provided for additional comfort. The desk sides are red and the base pearly grey. Please note that art materials are not included.
This is an all-round good-value-for-money product, suitable for a variety of activities, and is recommended for ages 18 months to three years. --Alison Drury
