This robe, as lovely as it is, has two product descriptions. One says 100% polyester velour, one says 100% cotton velour. If you want a robe that dries off a child after a bath, this isn't the product for you as it is made of polyester. However, it is a lovely, snuggly robe and the fit is great. My 6 year old is very happy :) I, on the other hand, need to shell out again for a cotton robe to do the job I though this would do :(

My particularly diminutive nephew was way too big at the age of 8 for this 7 - 9 year old size robe. Very disappointing for what is evidently a Christmas present. I am not yet persuaded that organising the correct size - presumably the aged 8 - 10 size - is the way forward because it might well also be the wrong dimensions for being a good fit. The adult one is very generously proportioned.
