My mum bought this for my fiancé for Christmas (I think my parents thought he was slacking off!) It's been in the bathroom (where all the best books are kept!) and it's honestly so laugh out loud funny. I'm not sure how useful my other half has found it, he got a glut of "Groom's Guide" books for Christmas and I think this was the last straw! But actually, if he read it, he would find there are some quite useful pointers in there. Help with Guest Lists, the music for the day, the wedding night, the honeymoon and beyond.
A word of warning, it's very American, and so some stuff needs to be taken with a pinch of salt in relation to a UK wedding (traditions are different, for example, we tend not to have Rehearsal Dinners so that chapter was useless) but there are some universally good points in there.
It's filled with simple illustrations pointing out the things to look out for and be aware of in relation to the bride, the brides parents, the best man, the dance floor, the stag night (batchelor party) etc. I found these really funny especially the comparison between "Your Fiancée" and "The Woman You Love". I'll leave you to figure out the possible differenes between the two!
Don't take it too seriously, it's not a serious book and if you're looking for something with 'proper' advice, try a Confetti guide. But enjoy it for the funny little book it is.
