I bought this chair harness as a spare for when I look after my friend's daughter. With a cushion under the lap this product is perfect (I only use the cushion as the little one is too low down at the table otherwise).
I wasn't sure that the material would have the strength to work effectively but any baby that can hold themselves upright in a sitting position would be suited to this.
I would definately recommend this product as something very simple to use and pack for outings where highchairs may not be available (yes that does happen).
Great value for money. Much better than any of the other chair harnesses/seats that I have come across and used yet.

This chair harness folds into a very handy drawstring bag, which makes it super light and portable. The instructions are cleverly on the label attached to the product itself, so no chance of losing them, which is a big plus when you are suffering from brain freeze whilst coping with a wriggling baby / toddler. Once you get the hang of it, which doesn't take long, this product is so easy to use. It has so far fitted around a good assortment of chairs, though do bear in mind that the chairs need to have some kind of filled in back - even if its just bars, otherwise, this product becomes redundant.
We started using it with our daughter when she was around 9 months old, she has always been very upright for her age and it was certainly useful then, though I would say that now she's just turned 11 months, she is much happier to be in it, which means she will stay in it for a longer period of time, which is very handy when you are out to lunch at a restaurant, where you really don't want your bub crawling round the floors ankle biting.

this is a great investment of a tenner. It folds up into its own handy little bag and stores easily in the changing bag so it's always with us, and it does fit most chairs.
Clearly it's not as good as a high chair and I agree with the reviewers who say it's not the most stable thing ever (you wouldn't want to leave your baby at all) and it is a bit fiddly when you've got a baby in the other hand.
BUT - it works, it's incredibly handy out and about, and it's very convenient - our 8 month old son loves it because he can sit up with us and see what's going on, whilst I love it because I can see what he's up to. Glad we bought one!

Very poor, you get what you pay for
