I bought this particular design for my friend as a present - the design was very cute and suitable for a boy or girl. I have other designs in the same brand. They are all of a very high quality and so so useful. My son sleeps very comfortably in them. They come with a thermomemeter and dress chart so you know exactly what to dress your baby in for the temperature of the room.

We bought this to replace a Mothercare 0-3 sleeping bag which my daughter was growing out of.
Until today I have been very happy with it. It zips from the top or the bottom so your child can be in the sleeping bag but the bottom can be opened to allow your baby to kick freely or to easily change a nappy. It's light weight and has a velcro secured opening at the rear to allow for the use of a 5 point harness. My daughter has been very comfortable in this sleeping bag.
I was actually looking to buy the next size up as my daughter grew.
We haven't had this sleeping bag very long however there is now a problem with the zip. I have just removed the item from my tumble dryer to find the top zipper missing and some of the teeth near the top are broken. I cannot put the zipper back onto the zip and can no longer zip the bag all of the way up. I cannot unzip the bag from the bottom for my daughter to kick freely or even for ease of changing a nappy - I will now have to remove the sleeping bag completely. I always use low heat on the dryer and a standard wash cycle and would expect a garment from a reputable company like Grobag to last.
Is this a one off issue or a design flaw? Think I will be going back to Mothercare's brand from now on.
