A lightweight universal crampon, the Grivel New Classic and New Matic are perfect for the the walker or trekker who does not anticipate tackling the steeper slopes and tougher demands of technical climbing. The 'New classic' binding has pre-formed heel and toe cups with a security strap that will hold the boot in place no matter what. Suitable for boots that are slightly less rigid. (For example the Scarpa SL. etc.) The New Matic binding has a pre-formed toe cap, and an adjustable heel clip that will snap into place on the heel lip that now comes as standard on many 3-4 season and Alpine type boots. There is also a security strap for extra confidence. The crampons are fully adjustable by hand, without tools. One size fits all.
