I have a very energetic dog so I do a lot of walking, around 30 - 35 miles a week, in all weathers. I need footwear that will stand up to this. I really don't like having to put on boots that are wet inside from a previous days walk.
I have needed to return 2 pairs of sub £60 boots from other manufacturers prior to these Grisports because they were not waterproof (despite claiming that they were) I get really annoyed when a boot becomes waterlogged after a few minutes walking through wet grass when it is claimed to be waterproof. I contacted one of the makers, a top brand name, and they told me that they could not guarantee that the tongue would be waterproof - therefore neither was the boot!!
So far (100 miles or so) these Grisports have performed faultlessly. I stood in a stream for a few minutes up to my ankles to clean mud off them and they were fine. The water just ran off with no tongue leaks. I have walked through plenty of long wet grass again with no problems. The soles are very rugged yet supprisingly soft, offering excellent grip, even on wet stone/rocks etc. They were comfortable from the start and even more so now after some miles under them. They are also very light weight. I feel I could almost go jogging in them. In fact I do jog short spells with my dog now and again during walks and they are great.
Highly recommended, great value for money.

These are good boots at a good price. I wasn't sure about buying these boots as I had not heard of Grisport before, and I need a sturdy boot to stand up too all the dog walking I do. I've had the boots for a couple of months now, and what I'd say about them is that they are very well made, and like the other reviews say they are pretty much waterproof. I found the boots to be a bit uncomfortable at the start however it didn't take long for them to break in and now they are great. Overall a great pair of boots which I'd be happy to buy again.

Since the arrival of not one but two labrador puppies,I have been reading reviews on walking boots(My wife and I also need the exersize).I was looking for something that would be light,grippy and would need to be waterproof but above all they would need to be comfortable.Having spent a fair length of time trying on my shortlist,I took the plunge and ordered these GRISPORT WOLF HIKING BOOTS.They arrived next day!tried them on (size 9)they fitted like a glove,amazing as I had tried several other size 9's which were tight!My normal shoe size is 8-8.5.Having now walked about 80 miles in them,I am v. pleased and would recomend them, especially the price!what value for money!!!

Very comfy and good value boots.
With the exception of cheap boots for work and local walking I normally swear by Berghaus Explorer Ridge, but they are usually £100+ to buy. Read more

Good boots but watch the size
Boots are good, excellent value, but I heeded others' advice and ordered a size 12 though I usually have a size 11 and they are a bit big. Other than that, can recommend these.
