I have a sore achilles tendon and needed walking shoes with low cut at the heel to minimise contact. So far these fit the bill. Very comfortable from the outset. Vibram soles should last well but only time will tell regarding durability of the uppers.

Good points:
* Extremely comfortable straight out of the box.
* Well made and with a resilient Vibram sole.
* Lace fixings very robust
* Waterproof
* Quite light weight
Bad points:
* Laces could be a couple of inches longer (nit picking)
* The price (but you get what you pay for)

A better fit than the Dartmoor
Bought a pair of Grisport Dartmoor walking shoes prior to these. Sadly I could not find a size that was a comfortable fit; 11 to small around the toe, 12 to loose around the heel. Read more

Excellent waterproof boots
I'm delighted with these boots. Not the most dainty footwear, but comfortable and completely waterproof. The soles grip well on dry and wet limestone, thick mud and snow. Read more
