What a load of rubbish, i paid for this product with the expectation that the description says it works with the iphone 3gs. It charges the phone about 4% then the batteries are flat.

This item does NOT work with IPhone 3GS, have tried it with my families and friends, not one does it work with.
Gave it two stars because it does work with my Itouch 1st gen and Ipod mini and works well. So not a total waste.
Don't believe the blurb it does not work with the 3GS!!!

I have an iPhone 3GS.
Firstly I tried using rechargeable batteries in this, but it simply wouldn't charge. Then I used Duracell - phone would charge about 5% then stop and not charge any futher.
Complete waste of money. Perhaps with larger/more powerful batteries it might work, but as a portable charger it's pretty worthless.

It charges for maybe 30mins max then the batteries are dead and the iphone charge has hardly changed. Read more

Only insert batteries when necessary
I have found that this product tends to discharge the inserted AA batteries even when it is not connected to the Ipod. Read more
