Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

The tempo armband keeps your full-size iPod or nano safe yet accessible while you hike, jog, ride, canoe, sky-dive, get your gardening done, or just hang around the house.

Product Description

Neck-straps and belt-clips let your iPod dangle freely, running the risk of scratching, denting and damaging your precious music player. What you need is the Griffin Tempo, a simply designed arm-strap is surprisingly tough; able to keep your iPod securely in place through the most motion-intensive activities. The Tempo's got sleek curves, reflective accents, and a soft inner lining that cushions your iPod from any shock or impact. It also has a handy headphone cord wrap, taking up excess cable and making your listening experience a whole lot more comfortable. A clear plastic sheet covers the front of your iPod, leaving it visible and accessible while protecting it at the same time. Best of all, the Tempo stretches to fit any sized arm, be it pencil-thin or thick as a python! So the next time you go jogging, horse-back riding or even sky-diving, don't be afraid to bring you iPod along! Just leave it to the Griffin Tempo Sports Armband to keep your iPod safely by your side!

4.0 out of 5 stars Griffin arm band, 9 Mar 2007
This review is from: Griffin Tempo FOR Sansa 8099-SNSTMPO (Electronics)
This is a great product, the only drawback is that when used in gym it allows condensation to form under the clear cover on the front. This was almost completely resolved by using a pin to punch a series of small holes in this cover, perhaps the manufacturer could consider some way of solving this during manufacture? Otherwise a very easy to use item that can be washed in the machine.

5.0 out of 5 stars sports armband for MP3, 26 Sep 2010

Bought this even though I don't have an iPod. I have a cheap MP3 only, which fits the clear plastic wallet.
This armband is very good at what it does, the orange thing is for wrapping headphone cord around - it works.
Only writing a review incase you are looking for an armband and write this product off as you don't have an iPod, which would be a mistake

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a wise choice, 19 Nov 2006

Definitely not a well-made product. I have had my armband for approximately two months and the velcro is already peeling away from the neoprene. On top of that, the poor-quality stitching has broken through the neoprene in multiple locations which has left me with large holes in the band and velcro that hardly sticks. Other than that, it is really just a poorly designed item...not user-friendly at all.

so easy to workout with, evening when doing weights! also, super comfy...I don't even know it's there!
keeps your ipod snug, but It's really easy to put in or take out of the armband! I get super sweaty when I work out and this thing doesn't have an odor or anything!

I wear this at the gym and it works great whether directly on my arm or over a shirt. The best part is that you can wind your ear buds cord up on it. The only thing I have trouble with is changing music on my ipod through the plastic, but it could just be me. I would highly recommend this product.
