Great for the flights 5 July 2011
This is a wonder, it works good in the car, but I use it for the flights, I get the tray back and can still watch the films on the iPad.

Works nicely, but could probably find better... 8 Nov 2010

I got this for our car, so I didn't have to rig my ipad to hang from it's case anymore, but it's really not worth the money, I think. This is a nice feeling product, sturdy when you attach it to the headrest, and has a nice pocket on the back for headphones and such... But I could have saved myself the money, because it really is no better than just keeping it in it's case, (I have an Incase with a band across the back), and attaching it to the back of the headrest myself with some added headbands. Also, I was hoping that it could attach around the *actual* headrest, and not hang below it, (where it is within reach of my toddler's kicking feet), but the strap to attach it is not long enough, so it hangs just under the headrest... So, to summarize, it's a good product, but if you already have a sturdy case you keep your ipad in daily, then I would recommend hanging on to that, and your money, and just rigging something yourself. I'll be returning this...

Great for HP Touchpad, too! 27 Aug 2011
By R. Finlayson - Published on Amazon.com
I got this for my child to watch videos on car trips. It does fit our headrest bars but is tight. I mainly wanted to write the review to say that, in addition to my iPad, my HP Touchpad also fits in this baby. It is a smidge off at the openings for the camera and the bottom/center home button, but not so much that you can't use both easily (the button and camera are just a bit to the side rather than centered in the cutouts). Also, if you put it in the right way, you can still access all the side and top controls like volume and off.

Two serious design flaws 14 July 2011
By Elizabeth Stern - Published on Amazon.com
We got this iPad holder to keep our son entertained on a long drive. For the most part, it works, but it has two annoying design flaws.

First, as others have noted, the strap is too short. We have a Honda CRV, probably one of the most popular family vehicles in the country, and the strap does not reach around the headrest bars. In addition, the design of the velcro closure is bad: I expected the velcro fastener to be on the other side of the strap, so it forms a more secure loop. In the end, we had to use a heavy-duty clip (the kind you use for a big stack of paper) to hold the strap on.

Second, the case is completely open on one side, with no strap or velcro to hold it in. As a result, if you pick up the case the wrong way (which is easy to do), the iPad just falls right out!

All in all, this case served its purpose, but I would not recommend it to anyone in its current form.
