Jane hill has crafted a compelling, mysterious and captivating thriller. I found it hard to put this down - it's a real page turner! Highly recommended

Enjoyable Tale 9 Aug 2007

This is quite a quick read and fairly enjoyable. Yes, the main character is 'obsessive' but this is one of the main themes of the story ~ she is meant to be that way, she is meant to be over the top, that is her character trait. Similar to the unbalanced character in Single White Female. Once you realise that she is meant to be extreme and that she is meant to be this way, you can really enjoy the story ~ what will she say and do next...?

I did enjoy this book it is quite fast paced and an easy page turner, I enjoyed the story and the 'bunny boiler' aspect of it!

Having read Murder Ballard and Can't Let Go by the same author, I was keen to read this debut but was disappointed. It's ok but just not in the same league as her other books. Having said that, it was Jane Hill's first effort so things hopefully just get better with her experience of writing.

Nice Story but not a thriller....!!

Bought this book as it was a Psychological Thiller.... it isn't ...!! The first half of the book describes her fling with Nicky Bennet and the second half the hunt for him. Read more
