Product Description

Product Description

Bobby, a lively little Skye Terrier, adores his master Auld Jock and when the old man dies, Bobby refuses to leave his grave in Greyfriars Churchyard in Edinburgh. I am slowly collecting all my classics for my kindle. I read this as a child and still enjoy reading it today (many decades later). This is a story every child should read and enjoy. Well recommended.

Great Travel book 14 Feb 2001
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This was a great book to read out loud to my kids while traveling through Great Britian. It was a way of giving them some "culture" of the country we were visiting -- but at their level of interest. When we got to Edinbourough, we went to the little dog's statue -- and having read the book made it so much more meaningful! I know my kids will remember that part of the trip forever. I certainly will. And since we were traveling by BritRail and carrying all our own baggage, I greatly appreciated the fact that it's a light weight paperback.
