Product Description

From the Author

This is the ULTIMATE resource for greenhouse gardening!
Check it out, 531 pages of greenhouse gardening information. I have tried my very best to take technical information and bring it down to earth. No technospeak. This book covers low toxicity pest controls, biological pest controls, interior design, and scheduling food and flower crops among many other subjects. I have also provided an extensive encyclopedia relating the special tricks to growing specific plants including herbs, ornamentals and flower crops.

I built a greenhouse last summer. Without this book I would still be struggling to get things right. Whenever I was confused or frustrated, this book was there to help out. If you are considering a greenhouse, GET THIS BOOK. If you already own a greenhouse, GET THIS BOOK. Everything you could want to know is covered. It is amusing and written in plain old garden speak. You will recognise in the author, a fellow gardener with dirty fingernails, just like yours!!!

This is the first book you should buy if you're starting to garden in a greenhouse. It may be all you need. Does not cover building a greenhouse, but covers every thing else.

I have a shelf full of gardening books and this is the only one I've read cover to cover. Simply stated, it's good, basic, information presented with humor but without pretense. Tables and charts make it an easy reference. Lots of low-cost tips make it a good investment. I think it's a wise buy for any gardener -- greenhouse or not.
