All around the world their organizations are beginning to be taken seriously as the need for a new global order establishes itself in the public imagination. But who are these environmental activists and how have they won their position of power? In "Green Warriors" Fred Pearce probes the origins, philosophies and motivations of this handful of campaigners whose activities increasingly dominate the political agenda.
