I live in the area where this book is about and have found the local history to be both accurate and fascinating. This book is a must for anyone who is interested in questing and the paranormal.
Since reading this book I have managed to find most of Grahams books and they are all as thorough and interesting as the Green Stone, but if you read this be warned.... you'll be addicted and need to read more of his stuff!!! EXCELLENT

I am a newcomer to Graham Phillips and Martin Keatman' s work introduced by a friend, and I could not believe that any book could keep me interested for so long.
This has to be the most exciting book you will ever read.
From beginning to end it will have you on the edge of your seats and believe me you will not want to put this book down.
The plots and investigations are both tense and thrilling. You feel like you are actually living the adventure, and furthermore it is all true!!!!
You will want to read this book again and again.
I have now gone onto complete my collection of Graham Phillips Books.

The Green Stone without doubt is a gripping adventure. Also without doubt it is based on facts which arose via mediumship. There are incidents in the story which are clearly 'projections' of the minds of the people concerned, and there is a certain amount of manipulation in order to present a coherent story. The follow-up novel "Eye of Fire" went further down this road, unfortunately, and I am certainly no great admirer of Graham Phillips' later contributions to occult fiction. Nevertheless, The Green Stone was - I sincerely believe - written as a result of genuine psychic experience and there is ultimately no ready-made explanation for the events it describes. It is a rare book - at least the 1st edition - and it is difficult to see why. At any event, it stands head and shoulders above what passes for occult fiction these days, and is a thoroughly good read from cover to cover.
