Hippocrates said, "Let thy food be thy medicine". Who am I to question the father of "modern" ( c460-377?B.C.) medicine!? Seeking truth about today's (c2010A.D.) medicine, as it directly pertains to me, and mine, I've definitively uncovered that our bodies were never designed with, thus do not naturally contain Corporate-made pharmaceuticals, so when we are ill or out of balance, it is not due to lack of vital (THE)Man-made drugs in our precious systems, but lack of vital Creator/God-made nutrients. Every time me, or one of mine, are out of alignment with perfect health, I get to prove my findings yet again. This book is a great jumping off point to taking back our power, and right, to self-healing. If I fall off a ladder painting my house, or one of my daughters is hit by a car, while she's out jogging, nothing beats professional emergency medical care. But if my husband, who is slightly immunity-challenged, picks up a winter-cold germ, which often knocks the " average" person on their arse for 7 - 10 days, I make a soup for him with lots of body-craving onions, garlic, and other Creator-made "meds", and 2 days later, like this very week, he's" Him" again, for better or worse. And no artificial residual effects. No 2 - 4 pages of contra-indications. Just nourishment and fiber and healthy elimination of what doesn't belong. It's a beautiful thing to work in concert with Nature to achieve and maintain something that is our birthright: Great Health!!!
