Product Description

Product Description

Rae Beth, author of the bestselling "Hedge Witch", brings us a whole new world of witchcraft and magic in her new book, "The Green Hedge Witch". The author blends the ancient tradition of wildwood mysticism with a subject that is supremely relevant for our modern day lives - the environment.Concerns about our world and environment have never been stronger, and through a mixture of spirit travelling, spells, wands, broomsticks and familiars, the author shows us how we can not only heal the human relationship with the rest of nature, but also to help bring evolution to the human concepts of nature.A book for both budding spell-casters and experienced workers as well, "The Green Hedge Witch" teaches how we can develop a relationship with those spirit presences who dwell in or can be psychically contacted through nature.

About the Author

Rae Beth is a hedge witch and wildwood mystic. She writes books and poems and gives talks on magical subjects. Her aim is to assist people to meet with spirits of nature and of the faerie realms, for healing purposes. Rae Beth is the mother of two and a psychic counsellor.

5.0 out of 5 stars A sincere encounter, 18 Sep 2008
This review is from: The Green Hedge Witch: A Guide to Wild Magic (Hardcover)
This latest book is concerned with a sacred heritage: 'sitting on boundaries, speaking with Elves, walking between worlds.' I found Beth to be naturally fluid in describing how she lives this heritage and so allows the reader to encounter something so sincere that it is hard not to be drawn into a subtle world of wild magic yet Beth always urges the reader to adapt spells as necessary in order to explore ones own magical path. Overall an interesting read, one to study and explore.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fluffy., 31 Jan 2010
This review is from: The Green Hedge Witch: A Guide to Wild Magic (Hardcover)
I normally enjoy Rae Beth's books, however the constant reference to elves did put me off somewhat. I found this book to be rather fluffy and idealistic.

I think folks who follow a fey tradition will probably enjoy this book, if you don't, then like me, you might be rolling your eyes quite a bit.
