DEMON LORD BOOKS:
Red Moon Demon
Green Flame Assassin

Because sometimes you have to fight fire with hellfire, there’s Caine Deathwalker: raised as a demon, armed like a gun merchant, and fuelled by booze. Nice is a dirty word and killing is what he does best. Make a contract with hell, and he could be on your side, God help you.

Caine’s hired to recover a stolen fey artifact. With his combat butler, a werekitty entourage, and a hot, Vampire Slayer at his side, he invades Sacramento where a shadow war is raging for dominion of the City. Caine needs the stone of dreams to stop a master vampire’s behind-the-scenes maneuvering. Complicating his business, a green flame assassin—who is both woman and monster bear—just wants him dead. Ultimate Survival for the city hinges on a wereliger who doesn’t want to get involved. Well, Caine isn’t taking no for an answer.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

5.0 out of 5 stars Breath of fresh air. 10 Feb 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Swords,Guns,Blood and violence. You can't argue with the classics so why bother. This is a fast paced action packed story about a human who was adopted by a Demon and who could show Demons a thing or two about what it means to be a demon.
As master of LA Cain takes crap from no one, inhales alcohol like it's air and screws what ever moves.

If Your looking for a no holds barred adrenaline fueled read without any of those pesky human ideals like morals and for the benefit of humanity which so often holds main characters back from letting rip and to hell with consequences then this is the book for you.

One last thing the first book in the series is just as good as this one can be read together or as separate books won't ruin the plot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great follow up! 27 July 2013

I really have enjoyed this series. It's hard to find paranormal books that are not romance novels. My only complaint is that the book was to short! Looking forward to the next Demon Lord novel!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent start to a series 29 Aug 2013
By Jason Knepper - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Caine is an unrepentant womanizing, boozing, 'kill it with fire' bastard. Give him what he wants, and you'll probably walk away in one piece. Stand between him and his target, and you'll be carrying your intestines home in a doggy bag. He doesn't bother with whiny self-reflection or self-castigation, he does what (and who) he wants, when he wants, and to Hell with the consequences. It's nice to see a protagonist who isn't lamenting the state of the world, or his place in it, as well.

It's an easy and fun little romp, my only personal gripe is that all of his lovers are size queens, but for all I know, there really ARE that many women with a genital size fetish.

I'm eagerly awaiting the third installment of this gritty little series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting follow-up 21 Nov 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A reasonably well written follow-up to the initial book in this series, beginning with "Deathwalker" fulfilling a sniper contract. The object of this assassination becomes a background thread for the rest of the novel. He then travels to Sacramento with a member of the Dream Court of the fey to fulfill a contract and settle the city. Among his adventures within that city, is one where he meets an opponent that seems stronger than he is. He returns to fey lands with a Dream Court object which had been stolen -- while returning the object to his client, he again runs into the stronger opponent while he's at a strong disadvantage (cannot perform magic). As he battles back, he becomes bound to a fey land, and the reader discovers what the unknown half of Deathwalker's DNA really is...

5.0 out of 5 stars quite enjoyable 26 July 2013
By Craig S. Parker - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
this author has found a character that suits them perfectly. it continues from red moon demon and expands caines personality. only complaint is that there are several grammatical errors that will halt your reading.
