A young man in Korea returning from a stint in the army comes home with little prospects or skills. After a visit to a nightclub, and a chance encounter with a woman he tried to defend on the train journey at the beginning of the story, he becomes embroiled with local gangsters. Thus begins the unravelling of this tale. Deftly made and realistic - a good film.
