5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I expected!, 9 Jan 2007
By Jill B "casegirl78" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Green Eggs and Ham Cookbook (Spiral-bound)
I was afraid this book would be a cheap sort of merchandising. But, the recipes are fun adaptations you would eat! Their presentation is probably better than mine, but you'll have that...

Each recipe page has an excerpt from the book that inspired the recipe, and there are plenty of tie-ins, especially if you were having a Dr. Seuss Party, this would be a great book!

Do you like Green Eggs and Ham?!?

Yes - I like them Sam-I-am!!! I would like them here or there - I would like them anywhere!!!

Yes - I like the Glunker Stew - and I like the Blueberry Bumplings too!!!

Yes - I like the Pink Yink Ink Drink - I even like the Biggel-Balls - I think!?!

I like Brown and Black's Snack - and the Who-Roast-Beast - and the Ape Cakes Grape Cakes to say the least!!!

I like it all - oh where to stop - well, maybe the Schlopp with a Cherry on Top!!!

It's all so good - oh, Sam-I-am - but the best is still the Green Eggs and Ham!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A New Tradition, 10 Jan 2007
By S. Ward - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Green Eggs and Ham Cookbook (Spiral-bound)
Since starting school, my 5 year old son, who has only celebrated Channuka, asked, "Who is this Santa Claus guy and why doesn't he come to my house?". We needed to start a family tradition that would make Christmas day a special one for him too. After watching the original cartoon version of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas", we sat down to a delicious Who Feast. What fun! This will be just the first of hopefully many years of a delicious and meaningful tradition.

We have big plans to read each of our Dr. Suess books and create their respective treats.
