A book full of good ideas , a boon to those of us with limited ideas for cooking vegetables.
The recipes seem to be relative foolproof and easy to follow.
The results have been good to eat and I have yet to have a failure.
The author has a good easy to read style and the cooking instructions are easy to follow with no dependence on cooking skills.
As much use to the non-vegetarian as to the vegetarian.

Excellent value. The author should produce more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Still using after 10 years! 17 Jun 2009
Format:Spiral-bound
This is a great little book that my Mum bought me as a "little extra" one Christmas. Since then I have repeatedly dipped into it when looking for ideas. All the recipes are fairly simply, arranged by vegetable and with a good index. I'm constantly surprised at the quality of results - the author seems to have a great flair for flavour and even the most humble looking recipes have turned out extremely tasty. I'd recommend it to organic fans who are members of Veg Box schemes as it's very helpful in finding ways to use up those veg that they might not have been brave enough to try before!
