4.0 out of 5 stars Good fun, but limited range of questions 10 Jan 2013

I bought this as a stocking filler for my teenage daughter, a self-confessed Shakespeare geek. It's easy to play and good fun, but there aren't really enough questions. The facts on the cards are interesting though, and we both learnt something. Although my daughter loves it, it is probably better for younger children who know less bout Shakespeare to start with.

I bought this for my little state Primary school. We have studied Shakespeare and they absolutely love this game. Good competetive fun. My only criticism is that there are not enough cards, and only one card on The Winter's Tale for example( the children want to make more !). The cards which are 'Who said what' are great for recognising text and identifying plays. If you are studying Shakespeare, I thoroughly recommend this game which could be played with a whole class split into groups. A good gift for parents to buy for their children.I am thinking about getting the Tudor pack too.

2.0 out of 5 stars shaky Shakespeare 15 Jun 2013

Unfortunately this game is not appropriate or relevant for the age group for which it claims to be aimed at, and wouldn't appeal to those who are old enough to be able to participate meaningfully. Rather disappointing.
