The Activity Set, containing 84 Wikki Stix in 16 colours and two sizes, plus multi-use playboard, handy storage bag and eight pages of fun ideas and illustrations. Wikki Stix provide creative hands-on fun alone or with other materials. They will not pull apart, but cut easily with scissors. Clean and easy to use-no preparation, no mess. Clean up is just a quick wipe with a dry cloth or paper towel. Wikki Stix are made of a strand of acrylic, hand-knitting yarn enhanced with a microcrystalline, food-grade, non-toxic wax. There is no latex, nor any peanut or nut oil. The wax is similar to that used in lipsticks and on food products. Ideal for ages 3 and up.

This set is MUCH better value than Bendaroos (we have both) and comes with a board plus a resealable large storage plastic bag. Wikki Stix are virtually 98% identical to Bendaroos. The wax layer is slightly thicker on these sticks (still we are talking fractions of millimetres here) but they are just as flexible, colourful and fun. I wish I'd never bought the vastly overpriced Bendaroos now which for comparison came in a tiny brown cardboard box (no effort on packaging whatsoever) and were shorter.
My three children aged 4-9 have all enjoyed playing with these, they leave no mess, stains or residue and have been stuck to doors, walls and picures with no problems. My 7 year old likes making bridges and tracks for his toy cars with his. My 9 year old is making lots of plaited jewellery and my 4 year old makes 'pictures' and sticks them to everything in sight. You need to hold them for a few seconds to stick them together, the warmth from your fingers slightly softens the wax so they join. My 4 year old hasn't quite got the hang of this but he's still happy freestyling and making his own wierd and wonderful creations.
Great activity toy which has kept my children occupied for hours and as an adult I've enjoyed playing with them too.
They don't crumble or dry out and there are no sharp parts.
