Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Blue Peter Globe Runner, the first ever official Blue Peter board game, is a fun and challenging way for children (and adults) to learn about our world.

The object of the game is to be the first player or team to complete their world map. Throw the dice, take turns in an anti-clockwise direction, then either follow instructions, answer a multiple-choice question based on Blue Peter or perform an action--all are timed with an "egg-timer" device--then take a piece of the world map, cover the board with it and be the first to complete the map. Rules can also be varied to suit the group, provided all players agree beforehand.

The game comes attractively boxed with an instruction leaflet that is simple and easy to follow. Some questions are more difficult than others, and some are based on programmes from the past making, it particularly suitable for older players with a feel for nostalgia, or for teams where a consensus can be arrived at before an answer is given.

This new game is bound to be a hit with Blue Peter lovers everywhere because it combines general knowledge, fun, a trip down memory lane and humour--and all this with not a cereal box or piece of sticky-back plastic in sight.

Intended for two to four players or teams of unlimited players, age seven and up, Blue Peter Globe Runner is suitable for all the family. --Susan Naylor
