Product Description

Product Description

BrainBox is a fast and fun memory game that does not require any pens, pencils, paper, playing board or even a table! Each round takes 10 seconds so all players are involved. A game lasts as long as you want it to, 10 minutes is the norm, but playing for 5 minutes is great fun also. BrainBox is educational and is perfect for families and groups of friends to play, wherever they are, on a level-playing field. Packed in a sturdy cool magnetic cube box. BrainBox is ready to play without any set-up time needed. The rules are pretty straight forward. You can play solo or with as many people as you want. A player simply picks a card and studies it for 10 seconds before being asked a question from the back, chosen by the roll of a die. A correct answer means the card is kept, if not it is returned to the box. The player with most cards after 5 or 10 minutes wins! The winner may not be who you expect as this fabulous game is about observation and memory, not learned facts! BrainBox My First Pictures is a fun starter BrainBox for younger players, the cards do not have words just colourful images.

Product Description

You have 10 seconds study the cards to see the different things in the picture before flipping them over: now roll the dice and answer a question about it- can you remember what was in the picture? BrainBox First Pictures contains bright and colourful illustrated cards which help your child learn about household, holiday and everyday scenes: perfect for younger players. Simple to set up and ready to go, each round of this fast-paced game takes about 10 seconds so players don't have to wait long until it's their turn, and you can play for as long as you like- 10 minutes is normal, but 5 minutes is also great fun. BrainBox is educational and is perfect for families and groups of friends to play wherever they are, on a level-playing field, and can also be played solo. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent toy for all the family 10 Jan 2010

I bought this toy for my five year old son. We've had some really good fun playing it together as a family. It's pretty easy for my smart 7-year old, however, the game can be made more difficult by asking more than one of the questions on the card. My five year old thoroughly enjoys the game and it has really helped him with concentration. He enjoys the game more when he beats his old Mum at it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game 10 April 2010
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I work in the Foundation stage in a primary school and we were bored of all our games. Searching the internet I came across this game which I thought looked different and interesting .

The children love it , it encourages speaking and listening, it can be adapted through the questions you ask, so can be used with a wide range of children. It doesn't matter if a child leaves the game ( as often happens with our 3 year olds !)as it is not a traditional type board game. A great game which I have reccommended to many people. Other friends have bought other games in this series which are apparently as good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slightly OK Toy
The concept of this is sound, but actually in execution its a little dull. Its a series of cards - you have to memorise the pictures and then answer a question thereon. Read more
