No spoiler here, the story is too good for that. It's about a very alpha male Greek who falls in love with a woman he thinks committed a fraud by greed. He will blackmail and manipulate her ruthlessly into having an affair with him. She will accept because she has no choice, but soon will be as passionately addicted to him as he will be addicted to her. The passion between them, oh my! Scorching, mind-blowing, I felt like there was an active vulcano each time they just looked at each other. The reader can see how their feelings gradually move from passion to love.

The most beautiful part of the story for me is a scene where they went to a small restuarant together, far away from the tourists zone. I won't tell what happened, I'll just say I've rarely read a scene with such an intensity, with such a depth, with such a love.

Once again, Michelle Reid delivers, and beautifully.

What I like about Michelle Reid's books is that they are about people with a certain emotional maturity, even though they are as young (twenties and thirties). Her stories are always very well written, one can tell she takes her time writting something worth reading.

Being a fan of the Mills and Boon Modern or Harlequin Presents stories (it's the same), I like her alpha male heroes and strong heroines.
Her heroes are alpha males true and true, but they are all decent guys with likeable characters, and you can see in their behaviour that they love the heroine. Her heroines are strong and very feminine at the same time. Her love stories are not about only fighting each other the whole story and suddenly saying "I love you" at the end. No, her love stories are about loving each other and showing it every way possible, while at the same time fighting over issues that have to be resolved for the relationship to be satisfying.

I cannot tell how much it is enjoyable to read about two people that actually love each other and you can feel it. She tells the story from the hero and the heroine's point of view. You feel so connected to them, you feel their love, their pain , their pasion, their fights. From those stories, one can tell Michelle Reid is an author that understand what real love really is, and that is why she writes so beautifully about it.

Big Thanks to Michelle Reid for being such a good romance author!

As always, Michelle Reid never disappoints her readers and fans and The Greek's Force Bride is such an example of what an incredible author she is with this story so full of tension, passion, and understanding and eventually love.

The book is full of conflicts.....fiancé, future brother in law, sister and her parents not to mention his ex-wife. Also, let's not forget the sexual tension and the entire cast of characters past and present from being adopted, to being spoiled, and to being used. No wonder Leo Christakis the wealthy billionaire put up a shield around his hart but still stepped in because he was attracted to the lovely Natasha and suspected his brother of wrong doing not to mention Natasha was his brother's future wife. She was a "buttoned up woman" yet he found her sexy.

When she appears at her future husband's office to break off their upcoming marriage because she realizes it's a mistake she finds him with her sister in a compromising situation. She is not only shocked, she's sick to the bone. Not to mention that the man who makes her nervous and uncomfortable, her future brother in law witnesses Rico and her sister Cindy having an encounter on his desk. Leo takes things into his hands, emotions flair and everything spins out of control when he decides to take her to Greece.

From there everything seems to unravel and becomes not only uncomfortable but upsetting. Michelle Reid has a knack at enticing her readers in to a romantic wind tunnel and taking them on such a journey they don't even realize it until they read her books from cover to cover at one sitting.

I adored Leo Christkis, the handsome Greek; proud and stubborn billionaire and how he was drawn to the meek and mind Natasha, his brother's future wife. His protectiveness of her was sweet but not so his passion.

I absolutely could not understand her sister and her fiancé's betrayal except for their greed and to make a statement. However, what bothered me the most was Natasha's parents, how they ignored her after her sister was born and how her sister was the "little princess" and stopped at nothing to get her way. But was extremely heartwarming is how Natasha grew in her relationship with Leo, not only in a physical but in an emotional way and became stronger in the process.

Michelle Reid's The Greek's Force Bride is not a love story you'll want to miss due to the nature of its passion, intensity, and attraction

Nothing special...... 17 Aug 2009
Format:Paperback
I bought this a few weeks ago, mostly because it had been given five stars. I thought it was a good read but not worth five stars, maybe more like three. Nothing new here.
